In my therapy practice, I have made the intentional choice to operate as a fee-for-service provider. This approach allows me to prioritize your individual needs and maintain control over your treatment. I believe that your journey should be free from the constraints often imposed by insurance companies, such as session limits and mandatory chart reviews, which can compromise your privacy and the quality of care you receive.
Though for a limited time, I am currently accepting Oxford/UnitedHealthcare and BCBS/Anthem insurance. While this is a temporary arrangement, I hope it provides you with an opportunity to access the support you need.
By choosing the out-of-network (OON) path, you can receive the personalized care that aligns with your values. This ensures that your private information remains confidential and separate from any insurance provider, allowing us to focus solely on your growth and healing.
If you have insurance, some plans may offer partial reimbursement for your therapy sessions. At the end of each month, I will provide you with an itemized medical receipt, known as a Superbill. You can submit this receipt along with your claim form to your health insurance provider for potential reimbursement. However, please keep in mind that reimbursement is not guaranteed, and I encourage you to check with your insurer regarding their policies for out-of-network claims.
In a world that often feels overwhelming, finding solace and support can make all the difference. By signing up for my therapy newsletter, you’ll receive access to therapy blogs, thoughtful insights, practical tools, and resources designed to nurture your personal growth and well-being.
